Toby's Act Receives Royal Assent image

I am pleased to tell you that Bill 33 (Toby’s Act), the Right to be Free from Discrimination and Harassment Because of Gender Identity or Gender Expression, 2012 received Royal Assent today from Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor, the Honourable David C. Onley.

I am extremely proud to say that Toby’s Act is now the law, and the Ontario Human Rights Code will be amended to ensure that we provide equal protection for all Ontarians.

Together, we are building a more inclusive Ontario!
