This morning the Certificate of Property Use (CPU) for Lansdowne Park was posted on the Environmental Registry. A CPU is a control document issued by the Ministry of the Environment to a property owner in relation to an accepted risk assessment that is required to implement risk management measures (RMMs). RMMs are implemented to ensure there is no adverse effect associated with the contaminants present on site.
The CPU will be posted under EBR Registry Number 011-6997 for a 45-day public comment period, closing on October 4, 2012. You can find it online at www.ebr.gov.on.ca. I encourage you to review the information carefully and supply your feedback to the Ministry for their consideration.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about this process.
