Crisis in Haiti Ontarians Come Together to Help Haiti Recover
By now you have all heard about the devastating earthquake that has demolished Haiti. The entire world is affected by this catastrophe. I join you in your sorrow and concern. My thoughts and prayers are with the survivors of the quake, and the thousands of people from around the world that are working to help Haiti rebuild.

Premier McGuinty announced that the Government of Ontario is providing $1 million in immediate emergency aid to help the people of Haiti recover from an earthquake that devastated the country on Tuesday.The money will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross to support the global relief effort.

Other relief efforts are underwa. Here in Ottawa, there are many ways that you can help. Here is a list of organizations that are collecting relief funds:
